AFCAT 2023 Result in Next Step: Review AFCAT AFSB 2023 Details
Candidates who pass the online written exam will be invited to an interview with the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Candidates must choose the date and location of AFSB Testing within a certain time frame. The AFSB will be held in Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), and Varanasi (4 AFSB) (4 AFSB). Candidates who choose the flying branch can only choose from Dehradun, Mysore, and Varanasi.
The AFSB testing would be divided into three stages, as shown below:
- Stage 1 consists of an officer intelligence rating test, as well as a picture perception and discussion test.
- Stage 2 – Psychological evaluation
- Computerized Pilot Selection System – Flying Branch (CPSS)
The final merit list will be compiled based on the results of the written exam and the interview.
Selected candidates will begin training in January 2024 for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, and NCC Special Entry Scheme (For the Flying Branch).
